Exploratory persona development and the previous website home page.

INTRO
The client was looking to educate and engage potential customers outside of the academic field on the need for legal negotiating.
The team was Braverman Associates CEO, and Chief Operating Officer who provided written content, and approvals.
My role was to update and modernize the UI to allow a better presentation of their services, transition the site to a content management system, for easier maintenance, and provide a mobile view for users.
A second phase of the project was to create a user flow and streamline the event ticketing process for workshops.

SITUATION
The problem exists as negotiation is not understood to resolve company and employee issues. It also offers HR departments another, less polarizing option to employees and company management. Why the problem matters are companies spend millions of dollars in legal fees each year in EEOC lawsuits that could have used negotiation as means of resolution.

ACTION
The process I and the team took was to analyze the current website UI and create new content based on personas [personas] and review content management systems to maintain easily. I used potential customers' personas to focus on the page user experience. A content management system was explained throughout the process to help the client learn to update the site.
UX Deliverables/activities to help solve the problem.
Develop personas, for instance, college deans tasked with improving teams, new attorneys looking for training, small business owners needed a system for employee/client issues, small business vendors wanting to avoid litigation, HR staff looking to revise employer-employee mediation system, troubled employee unsure about litigating issue at work

Results
The website build has created a clean and modern interface and developed Braverman Associates as a local and national resource in the field of negotiation.  New clients have also been made aware of each of their webinars, and workshops in multiple channels. Their mobile website is up and available.
