WEB AND MOBILE SECURE WEBPAGE ARCHIVE FOR BUSINESS REPORT ANALYSIS
The goal was to streamline the upload process, develop a simple user interface to organize
and archive the reports in one place and access live Tableau reports.
INTRO
The client needed a central landing page to share monthly business reports for Senior leadership team meetings with business groups. The page also should serve as an organized archive to access external audits. A special feature needed was an embedded Tableau report with live data and a report upload method.
The team was the Assistant to the Chief of Staff, the Principal Project Manager, and a Data Scientist, who provided login access.
My role was to create a streamlined secure workflow, a clear User Interface to allow senior leadership to upload and access business reports to connect, share and discuss. Also, code the accordion feature of the landing page and include interactive Tableau reports.
SITUATION
The Assistant to the Chief of Staff was responsible for gathering reports from 10 departments via emails weekly for the Senior staff meeting. There was no way to access reports from past months in real time, archive them for use by staff and external auditors. Files were kept on a local drive by the assistant with no shared access.
ACTION
The process I and the team took was to analyze the Assistant’s current workflow and develop a secure upload repository where users could upload reports. Three links were provided for a private Slack Channel, links to the department intranet, and a link to company strategy pages. Coding the Tableau reports for real-time review needed testing to work within the company intranet.

Results
The Chief of Staff used the new dashboard after a soft launch of 2 weeks. It was noted to make the reporting workflow process efficient and promoted real-time discussion of current trends among departments.
The secure repository and dashboard have been used successfully to provide an archive and process for Chief of Staff meetings since 2018.

Capital One Risk Department Web Portal and Graphics
The Risk Experience department needed to improve engagement internally to use their expertise to prevent losses and harm to Capital One Bank initiatives. I visually designed a graphic to communicate the where when and why to engage with Risk. Risk also needed a web portal to simplify how to get to current information.
Results
Internal engagement rose and provided an easier user experience for both Risk and their stakeholders.
